RESOURCING STAY and BAYR IS A DIRECT WAY TO Support…

Deepening the capacity and growing the leadership of young people across Appalachia.

• Fortifying and nurturing young leaders through deep relationships of support, care, and peer-mentorship.

• Developing Black youth leadership, self-determination, and autonomy in Appalachia.

• Scaling up our impact by supporting more local organizing efforts and recruiting more young people into our Membership base.

• Resisting the rise of authoritarian repression, economic and social crisis, climate collapse, and all the threats that young people and our communities are facing in Appalachia and beyond.

• Building the resources and infrastructure that is required for our communities to survive, organize for each other, and sustain our well being.

• Strengthening the present and future leaders of our movements for collective liberation. 

We know that Appalachian youth deserve the infrastructure to support each other in Appalachia. Young people deserve spaces to be heard and to be equipped with the skills and support to be decision makers in our communities about issues that directly affect us, our families, our region, and our world.
